Finally here, taking a look around. i have a soft spot for storm troopers with strollers. Lots of great costumes, I’ll have plenty of pictures!

I am working in the mixing and mastering studio of one of my favorite shows on television: HBO’s Treme.   The problem is that they are working on next week’s episode.  It is crunch time and they are working under deadline.  The hard part is that I am expected to work while a new unaired episode of my favorite new show is on a beautiful big screen right in front of my workstation.  Not easy.

I just met legendary comic creator Stan Lee! Look! He even took time to pose for a picture.

i am rapidly becoming obsessed with a show on the BBC called Snuff Box!  it’s just the kind of  hilarious absurdity that i need at the end of a long day.

it’s retail price of $21,000 seems a bit steep for a “Prosumer” device, but it’s the start i have been waiting for.  Read more here:

I’m at an industry mixer for reality tv drumming up biz. I have no idea how to mingle with these people. so I set by the emergency exit eating free food and drinking cheap booze and occasionally performing feats of dazzling technology.

Though I have to admit I am a tad underwhelmed. Sad that they choose to stick with at$t, but I will admit that the $500 price tag is appealing. Right now this devise seems to be set to replace my iPod not my laptop. I think I will wait for the new MacBook pros. I will continue to watch the iPad with interest. I’m sure things will change seriously with new software! I wonder when it will run more then one app at a time. Either by apple’s doing or others.
